Glasshouse recently achieved ISO 9001 status. This means that we meet a consistently high standard for our customers. It also signifies that we are a well-managed business that follows a set of specific principles to achieve its aims.
Companies that bear the ISO 9001 award symbol have been independently audited and must agree to be continually assessed in order to retain their award. Glasshouse is a company that you can trust when improving your home.

In order for an organisation or company to verify whether its quality management processes are working, it is invited to run its own internal audits. This makes the analysis stage easier to manage, as no external visits are required. This approach, therefore, places less pressure on infrastructure and resources.
The organisation or company may feel more comfortable inviting an independent certification company to visit and assess their quality management processes, but this is voluntary and by no means a mandatory requirement. It is even possible to self-audit, provided this is done according to strict guidelines.
Other ISO 9000 standards exist and it is possible to transition to these, depending on differing requirements and the needs of the organisation or business in question.
